During the last week, some of Newegg's customers receiving what the store calls "demo boxes" that it described to have been accidentally shipped by one of it's partners.

Newegg.com is making efforts to get in touch with each of the affected customers and rush-delivering genuine merchandise or providing 100% refund, depending on what the customer chooses.

So if you got one of these, just contact your merchant.

However Intel's statement adds clarity to the issue. Indeed some customers may have received "counterfeits", and indeed there are no such things as "demo boxes", at least as far as Intel is concerned. That said, whoever is behind these "demo boxes" still stands to face the law for infringement and imitation of Intel's product design, and trying to profit from it.

Case Cooling: More Light, More Air, More Colours

The huge glowing lettering “FAN“ made of 107 Apollish fans has been one of the most popular photo objects on this year’s CeBIT. Due to the patented circular LED light with up to 15 diodes and the high-glossy surface coating
the new Enermax fans provide flashy colours and light effects.
The innovative, patented Twister Bearing Technology, widely known from the successful Everest, Cluster and Magma fan series, guarantees a silent and
powerful cooling performance.

Innovative Bearing Technology for optimal cooling

Apollish convinces not only by its unique design. It further ensures an effective and reliable system cooling due to its high air flow rate and optimized thermal speed control. The new LED fan series is equipped with trusted and patented Twister
Bearing Technology, which is already embedded in the successful Everest, Cluster and Magma fan series as well as in the recently launched PSU series ECO80+.
Magnets inside the bearing and the rotor allow a nearly frictionless and noiseless operation.
The bearing is composed of a self-lubricating, highly resistant nano material which provides best possible protection against abrasion.
Useful additional feature: The fan blades can be detached for cleaning from dust.
